  Just moved accross the street and everyone said this place is really good. However I had a much different experience, not only with the food but the very rude waitress as well!
  
  I've worked in Restaurants for 22 years and NEVER have I or my bosses treated any customer the way I was. I've worked at Denny's, Leo's Coney Island, Wild Coney and more.
  
  We went in and it was not bust at all. I ordered the Gyro Wrap and Soup that was on special for $7. The stuffed pepper soup was really good but when they brought my wrap I was extremely disappointed. I asked for no tomato ex onion and I got a Gyro Wrap that was mostly Onion and Taziki Sauce. WHERE WAS THE MEAT!
  
  After two bites I opened the wrap up and see hardly any meat what so ever, and although I asked for extra onion there was WAY TOO MUCH! I didnt order an Onion Gyro Wrap.
  
  When I brought the waitress over to complain she said thats the way they come. I said seriously Ive worked at coney Islands forever and NEVER have I served a Gyro or Wrap with this little meat. She asked rudely well what do you want me to do? I said your job and take it to the cook and show him this and that he should compensate me because it wasnt worth paying $7 for.
  
  She takes my plate to the kitchen and comes back empty handed. Not only did she NOT APOLOGIZE for her crappy cook. She told me like I said thats the way it comes and they only come with three pieces of meat. That's absolutely rediculous because Gyro meat is not only very inexpensive but if you have ever served it you know that only three shaves of the Meat is NOTHING for $7.
  
  So i asked what is going to be done and she said nothing. They didnt offer to take it off my bill, add more meat, nor did they offer me something else in return. I asked where my plate was and she said I thought you didnt want it. I was like SERIOUSLY? Your going to make me pay for something I clearly took two bite of and not give it back and not offer me anything to bring me back to the restaurant? So I told her to go get my food and bring it back. She did and I took pictures.
  
  My fiance had the Chicken Pita and same price he got an entire chicken breast which is way more expensive that Gyro meat. I was appaled. The waitress kept going on and on and said we don't have to come back if we dont want to and just kept running her mouth.
  
  After serving my entire life I said to her that if she wanted a good tip she shouldn't have been rude about it and kept running her mouth because it wasn't her fault it was the kitchens. Had she been understanding and offered to do what she could or even apologized for her cook I wouldn't be complaining about her. She said well after the six years I've worked here nobody has ever complained and we dont have to come back. I told her she already ruined her 25% tip but if she keeps it up and talking to me like im some transient then she won't get a tip at all!
  Being a waitress most of my life again of course I left her a tip still but not the normal I usually do. I gave 10% atleast but she did a horrible job because she just wouldn't shut up and kept arguing so to speak.
  
  As we were walking out too there was a couple by the door that were eating Steak and Cheese Subs and oh my goodness there was so much Steak on their subs it was so upsetting. Guess I should've ordered something else apparently.
  
  Will we go back? Well I always give second chances but next time Ill get breakfast instead of a Gyro which I order everywhere because they're my favorite. I dont know when ill be back because im so frustrated with the whole team.
  
  I urge everyone to know that when you complain about something pay attention to the waitress. Because she should've done SOMETHING or at least tried. The cook or owner, whoever was there should've done SOMETHING to make it right. Offer something else instead, add more meat, or even just offer to take it off my bill since I really didnt want it or even touch it. But they were about to throw it away and still make me pay. Absolutely rediculous and crappy customer service. I dont think this place will last very long at all if they keep things like this up, especially hiring waitresses that talk back and argue with attitude and not do their job which is to be the advocate for the customer.

  Don't judge a place by the outside,  just kinda needs a remade image,  now you enter a beautiful clean decorative eating spot how cool greater be Roscoe the Bear one really cool dude.  Tina be slinging our food today along with many on the floor and papa in the kitchen.  Yeah another great family run restaurant with hundreds of regular customers.  Brunch be a fantastic spread of Chicken n Waffles,  Tater Bacon Soup, Chicken topped Cobb Salad, Mega Chicken Steak Mushroom Peppers topped Cheese sandwich OMG so really great. One Chili Cheese Omelet the perfect family meal,,, yeah took leftover home.   I love this Coney Island I'm new to the city and this is the first Coney Island I found and they have really good food and great prices and the service is good too I only wish they stay open a little while longer

  Hearty, American food. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised!!
  Homemade corned beef hash-yum
  Omelette-yum
  Everything was very good and served by a very nice, attentive staff.
